An HTML5 logo for Drupal

Published on January 18, 2011 - 10:53am

Today the WC3 announced they've created a logo for HTML5. I've been struggling for months with branding the movement to get Drupal to support HTML5, so I was excited to see it.

This logo is licensed Creative Commons Attribution 3.0, just like the original HTML5 logo.

UPDATE: We are making stickers! Discuss them here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/121414 And chipin!

[I am working on uploading other files, including the original .ai file — but I'm having bandwidth trouble (only getting 4kb up). They'll get added to this page eventually, so check back later!]

This is just awesome! Thanks!

Cool, thanks. This makes me think of a possibility to make a drupal 7 logo ;-) A blue droplet with a seven inside it :-)

It makes me think that drupal 5 is pack more fire power than drupal 7 :).

Speedy logo :-D
Nice

I like the drupal version better!

Nice, HTML5 logo should be more recognizable, so that drupal version makes sense. But idea is great. Here is my druplicon, maybe some themer needs it ;) http://www.flickr.com/photos/48762050@N04/5305294763/

That is interesting. It’s good to have these kinds of sites around to keep the information flow steady. Helping those who really can make things right in the future, good work! Superb information that you have shared. I would get advantage from this great information.
